RockyMounts Roof Bike Racks Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica- Video

Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be test-fitting the RockyMounts SwitchHitter Roof Bike Rack, part number RKY1270. We already have our bike installed, so let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. First off, there's going to be no frame contact at all to attach this bike to your bike rack. Instead, we have it hooked up to this skewer here at the front, which grips your bike by the fork mounts. Now, this also does work with thru-axles, and then at the rear, we have this wheel strap, which is adjustable along the length of the bike rack to accommodate different size bikes. With the bike rack installed, coming to the rear here, you can see that there's going to be no clearance issues between our hatch and our bike rack itself. Let's go ahead and take our bike off and set it aside. more

Kuat TRIO Roof Bike Racks Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica- Video

Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica we're going to be test fitting the Kuat Trio Roof Bike Rack, part number TR02. We already have it installed on our vehicle so you can see it here. One of the best features about this bike rack is the fact that there's going to be no frame contact at all to hold the bike to the rack. Instead it holds it by the fork mount here and the wheel strap at the rear. With this installed, I'd just like to show you, we're not going to have any interference at all between our hatch and our bike rack once it's installed. I would also like to point out at the rear we do have an integrated cable lock for additional security. more

Inno Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 Chrysler Town and Country- Video

Today on our 2016 Chrysler Town & Country, we're going to do a test fit of the Inno Fork Lock III Bike Carrier. Part number is INA391. We have a bike on our carrier and we have our carrier hooked to our vehicle. I'm just going to show you a few features. This is a fork-mounted bike rack as you can see, skewers and gauge, and when you come right to the back we have our wheel centered in the wheel cradle here. We're going to have a strap just pretty much holding it down and protecting our spokes, so we're going to go ahead and remove that. I'll get up here and disengage our skewer here, lift our cover up, hold onto our bike, disengage the skewer and we can loosen it over here. more

We have a bike on our carrier and we have our carrier hooked to our vehicle. I'd like to show you a few features. The first feature I'm showing you, this is a fork mounted bike rack as you see, fork bike carrier. Back here we have our wheels sitting in our wheel cradle with a strap pretty much hold it down and protecting our spokes. We're going to remove that. Then we're going to come up front so we can disengage our skewer. more

Today, on our 2016 Crystler Town and Country, we're doing a test pit of the Koowatt 00:00:05 Trio Roof Bike Rack, part number TR02. Now we have a bike on a rack, and we have our rack on our vehicle. I just want to show you a few features. Now, this is a four bike 00:00:17 carrier, as you can see. The skewer is engaged, and if we come to the back, we just have our tires sitting on our wheel cradle here, with a nice little strap on it, which is protecting our . just holding it down. I'm just going to remove that. We're going to come up front, here. To disengage this, pull out, and we need to loosen and tighten over here. more

Today on our 2016 Chrysler Town & Country we're doing a test fit of the Thule ThruRide roof bike carrier, part number TH535. We have a bike on our carrier and we have a carrier hooked to our vehicle. I would like to just show you a few features. The first feature I am going to show you, this is a fork mounted bike rack, we have a skewer engaged. We're going to move toward the back here and we have our wheel cradle, we have our wheel set in there with a nice little bushing on our strap so it's going to protect our spokes and the tire itself. We're going to remove this here, pull it out of the way, open up the door here so I can take off our bike. I'll come up here and show you how we take off our skewer, disengage it here by pulling it out. more

Today on our 2015 Chrysler 300, we're going to test the Inno Fork Lock roof-mounted bike rack. That part number is INXA391. We already have our bike on the rack. First, on our back tire we've got a ratcheting strap that you're going to see on most of your roof-mounted bike racks. You've got a lever on either side. Today on our 2015 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Slim Fork Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is INA387. Now we already have our bike on the rack, we're first going to show you how we connect that down and secure it. We will start here, in the back, at the back tire. Now this is going to be a little different than most of your roof mounted bike racks. This is actually going to sandwich and clamp your back tire in there. So, it's just an adjustable cradle that can move along the length of your bike rack, and we just use the knob on the side to loosen and tighten that. more

Today on March 2015 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint the-Track Roof Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is TH569. Now I already have our bike loaded up but first let me show you how we strap that down. Right here in the back we have a latching strap with a bushing on it. Now bushings they're just to protect your bike and also to fit those smaller tires like we have here into that little cradle a little better. So we're just going to push on the grey button on the opposite side and pull our strap out. more

Today, on our 2015 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Tire Hold Roof-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is INA389. Now, we already have our bike strapped down, we're first going to go over how we do so. Now, we'll start in the front here. We've got tire holds holding both the front and the back tire in place. This one is just going to be a plain tire hold with an adjustable mounting spot here. You can move that up and down for different tire sizes. Now, in the back, we have the same kind of tire hold. The only difference is going to be that it ratchets down and secures your bike into place. more

Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country we will be test fitting the Yakima FrontLoader roof-mounted bike rack. That's part number Y02103. Our Town & Country already has its factory rails installed as you can see there, so we can go ahead and begin by setting our bike rack on top of our rails. Once we get it up here we're going to want this to sit and grab our rail like that, so we'll make sure that's open. We'll guide it over our rail and set it down. We'll make sure it's straightened up and then we'll come up here to our tightening knob up front here and we'll go ahead and tighten that down. more
